A collective of the finest IPA Cornwall has to offer. India Pale Ale was developed in the mid 1800s for the export market, highly hopped and slightly higher in alcohol content than most beer at that time.

This unique collection includes:

  • Association -  The Association, flagship of the British fleet, struck the Gilstone Ledge in 1707 and sank within three minutes. It's remembered by this stunning IPA, brewed with natural Scillonian water. (ABV 4.5%)
  • Frenchman's Creek - A great IPA with a sweet flavour and floral aroma (ABV 4.8%)
  • Blisland IPA - A true to type IPA packed full of golden malts. Strong in ABV and highly hopped with Chinnook, Cascade, Citra, Pacific Jade and Pacific Gem, creating fruit and berry flavours to balance the finish.   (ABV 6.5%)
  • TNT - Light amber in colour, this American hopped IPA has a floral, citrus and apple blossom aroma, peach and grapefruit dominate the palate with a crisp bitter finish from the triple hopping. (ABV 4.8%)
  • Proper Job -  Proper Job is an India Pale Ale brewed with Cornish spring water and a blend of malts including Cornish grown Maris Otter barley. It is a powerfully hopped golden bitter that explodes with citrus grapefruit flavours. (ABV 5.5%)
  • St Ives IPA - A traditional IPA from St Ives Brewery. IPA was originally developed as a strongly hopped, slightly higher ABV pale ale for export to the colonies, India in particular.(ABV 5.0%)

Lovely choice of IPA's which are my husbands favourite. As his parents live in Cornwall he has tried many of them from there but this selection had a few even he not tried before!
