For those who love a darker beer, this collection of Cornish stout, porter and dark ale is a truly seductive combination. Enjoy this mixed case from some of Cornwall's finest breweries, featuring a selection of rich, full-bodied and robust choices.

The dark and mysterious selection includes:

  • 1 x Mena Dhu -  'Mena Dhu' is translated from the Old Cornish meaning 'Black Hill' - As dark as night with a smoky log fire aroma. Hints of liquorice and dark chocolate tantalise the taste buds on a journey to a surprisingly light but enduring linger (ABV 4.5%)
  • 1 x Proper Black - Black as stout, but the taste is classic IPA with a malt backdrop. Hops dominate the chocolate and coffee notes. An eastern European feel to this multi faceted beer. (ABV 6.0%)
  • 1 x Caliburn -  Excalibur was the legendary sword of King Arthur. This beer is inspired by it. Dark and strong, with a Malty sweet nuttiness. (ABV 5.8%)
  • 1 x Resolve - A full bodied, strong, almost black ale with very rich chocolate, coffee and liquorice flavours. (ABV 5.2%)
  • 1 x T.W.Lawson -  On passage to London in 1907, the majestic seven masted T.W.Lawson foundered off Shag Rock. This magnificent dark Scillonian porter is a nod to the ship and to the famous London Porters. (ABV 4.5%)
  • 1 x Atlantic Blue -  This rich Cornish Porter is produced with a blend of five different malts to provide a gentle smokey flavour, fused with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is long and satisfying. (ABV 4.8%)

Many of our orders are sent as gifts, therefore we do not include invoices in any order.

Bought as a present and was told that it was perfect and such a nice change from the usual gifts.


If we cannot deliver your order due to reasons beyond control (e.g. illness or tightened government restrictions), we will deliver your order when it's physically and legally possible to do so. Otherwise, we are able to issue a refund minus any administrative costs.

How long will it take to process my order?

All orders are processed and sent to our courier first thing in the morning. Please bear this in mind when using our expedited shipping service.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Our aim is to dispatch all orders placed next day. Any orders placed after that time will be dispatched on the next available working day.

We will send you a notification email when your order has been dispatched. 

While we always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day.

What days will my order be delivered on?

Our couriers deliver between 07.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday.

Will I need to sign for my order?

Yes, you will need to sign for your order.

If goods are returned to us by our couriers following unsuccessful attempts to deliver, and where delivery instructions have been met, refunds will not be given. In these circumstances the customer may request for the goods to be re-sent. This will incur the relevant area delivery charge and will not cover any spoilt perishable goods. Please note parcels containing alcohol cannot be left without a signature.

How carefully is my order packaged?

We take great care in packaging your order using the necessary materials according to its weight, size and how fragile it is.


You may cancel your order up to 48 hours prior to the dispatch date. This will incur a small administration charge. If you are not happy with your hamper please contact us to arrange return within 24 hours. The full value of the hamper/box will then be refunded on receipt of undamaged and/or in date goods excluding postage.

If goods are returned to us via the courier following unsuccessful attempts at delivery and where any delivery instructions have been met no refund will be made. In these circumstances the customer may request that the goods be resent. This would incur the standard delivery charge and would not cover any spoilt perishable goods. CBBAC will not make any administration charge for dealing with these cases.

We recommend that you send your order back to us using a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for any parcel lost during transit to us.

Once your item has been returned, we will inspect it and take the necessary action as soon as possible.

Faulty/Damaged Goods

If any item you receive from us arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible on 07881 557112 / 01579 321496 or by email info@cbbac.co.uk.  We will then advise you on the best course of action. 

In most cases we will ask you to return the item to us for an exchange or refund. Unfortunately we cannot refund your postage costs when you return an item to us unless the item is faulty.

Please do not return a damaged order to us without contacting us first.
